The Winston R-VI JH Cheerleading Squad is open to students in grades 6-8 and is committed to developing strong leaders in our school and community. Students have opportunities to begin developing their skills before entering the Varsity level in 9th grade by participating in basketball games. Cheer Squad helps our members develop skills in social interactions and leading others in a positive way which encourages those even on the opposite side of the court to enjoy our time together and have fun. The program emphasizes both individual growth and teamwork. The Winston R-VI Cheer Squad is proud to fly high with positive attitudes and strong teamwork.
